Description

Authentic antique 19th century Tibetan belt pouch ("coin purse") composed of silver, brass, iron and Yak leather. The front is decorated with a finely worked floral border in silver, and studded with corals and turquoise, the brass fittings cast in relief.

In good condition considering its age, Leather is still flexible, it does show age and usage. Keep in mind that this is among some of the last items that we shall see of a vanishing culture!

MEASUREMENTS: The overall length of the front silver frame: 5-3/4 in.
